“The FT has high standards for accuracy, analysis, and written English. The news podcast meets the first two, but the quality of the presenters’ spoken English disappoints. We all know that the dialogue is scripted. The daily “Got it” is poor grammar and rings false. The presenters should seek to emulate the spoken English of a David Pilling or Gideon Rachman, and less that of a teenage you-tuber!”
