This is a special episode recorded from Örebro, Sweden. I was invited to Tormek in Lindesberg as a guest for the “Sharp Makers” Exhibit. Tormek is a Swedish company who developed an unique sharpening system that is exported to over 40 countries and is used by Wood workers, Cabinet makers, Musical Instrument makers, Hunters, outdoorsmen, professional and home cooks and everyone who needs their edged tools sharp and well-maintained. We talked about the incredible story Tormek’s founder Torgny Jansson who wanted to solve a problem for his father of how to sharpen his wood working tools without dragging around a huge 2 person stone wheel that was the typical method at the time.
