“My 6 year old was just recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am a former teacher for over a decade and as he was developing I noticed a few behaviors that I had to experienced with multiple students in the classroom. As I discussed my concerns with his health team, he initially only received a diagnosis of ADHD. After much advocating, we finally had him evaluated by a specialist whom later confirmed my suspicions. This was an answer to many prayers but through this answer came a lot of anxiety and unknowns of what the future holds. In doing some research of Christian parenting for children with autism, I ran into your podcast. It has been such a gift to feel encouraged, have hope, and feel seen in a world where neurodivergence is sometimes pushed to the side and not discussed. So all that to say, THANK YOU for being a light in this world and to our family. You have gained a lifelong listener and I will be sharing this with other parents that are also walking in the same season. Blessings to you and your family! 💜”
