“As someone who left the fandom 20 years ago in an effort to be “normal.” …and has now recently rejoined, this podcast is terrific. Finn really breaks it down into digestible chunks of info. His definition of the fandom has really helped me to explain it to my family and friends in a way that doesn’t sound weird. (No weirder than Trekkies or model train enthusiasts) This has been difficult as my own fascination with anthropomorphic characters defies logical reasoning and norms. But I have come to this conclusion after tucking my interest away for so long. Normal is boring. Life is short.
