“I listen to other podcasts out there that breaks down GOT and this is by far the best one! Besides just breaking down the scenes of the episodes, both hosts have amazing knowledge of GOT which provides a level of analysis that you will not feel overwhelmed if you are just a show watcher. Both hosts also balance each other well, with Dan having more book knowledge and Julian having more show and director knowledge. This balance really allows you to fully deep dive in the directorial vision of the episode as well as what GRRM has done to build the audience to this point.
Beyond that, the hosts are just amazing! Their chemistry and personalities shine through this podcast and truly makes you feel as though you are just sitting on the couch talking to a couple of your best friends about the episodes. Their quickness to reply to messages and emails also makes you feel a true connection to the podcast and GOT community that no other podcast has done. Just emailing them and getting a response so quickly makes you feel as though you are a part of this podcast and not just some random audience listener.
