“A great show, as a trades men and life long Chicago land resident I have accidently rubbed up against Outfit guys. They are not flashy, are low profile and walked among us. One such man was a nice older guy who walk into a local family restaurant sat with locals and handed out zucchini he grew in his graden to his local friends (none of which were outfit guys). It ws not until years later when we all got internet that we found articles on this guy who was an LIU offical and outfit guy. Hell it was part of the culture then I guess. This podcast is Unique in that it is presented from the view of a law enforcement vet who approaches stories of these people in a very honest way. His home town accent and style is refreshing as is honest assessment of the people who serve as his subject matter. This is a well flowing interesting and entertaining podcast unique in that it is presented from the view of a law enforcement vet who approaches stories of these people in a very honest way.
