Listen now
Description
Professor Emeritus, Dr. Richard Spence, enters the Garden fully tenured. He's authored books and has been a multi time presenter for "The Great Courses". Including the lecture series on the Occult. What is Occult? Perhaps. the better question is what isn't? Is it anti science or anti religion? Is it neither of those things? From the innocent things we experience without a thought, to the rituals we spend months or years preparing for, there are occult influences and ritualistic behavior. We travel from prehistoric cave paintings, to the Cult of Isis (or Mary), to the Russian revolution, we cover a lot of ground. A certain Mr. Crowley comes up. Rasputin too. Come on in, so we can unhide the hidden aspects of our banal lives, that indicate the occult surrounds us.
