Marieta Valdivia LeFort is a PhD candidate at University College London. She works with the Space Court Foundation and the Chilean Space Association. This is in addition to work at Yale and other pursuits. We discuss her journey from growing up in Chile to pursuing an education and profession in space law and policy. We discuss environmentalism, colonialism, equity, commercial concerns and priorities, and other aspects of space that concern the Latin America and Caribbean nations.
