Down to earth Gardening and Cooking
What attracted me to the show was the down to earth, real world gardening and cooking style of the show. I watch many polished cooking, gardening, and DIY shows and I often do not try things from those shows because you only see the process perfected. Seeing someone who has done something 1000 times, presenting to you with everything in it's perfect place, and having it perfectly executed does nothing to demistify a project. (Norm Abrams seems to think everyone has a $5,000 planer sitting next to their $3,000 lathe and the Food Network presents most things in apartment sized super kitchens) I prefer to share the learning experience with someone who might not have cooked, repaired, or built something before, but has a great background that enables him to be a very good guide in the same environment most of us can relate to. That is what Eric brings you.

I love this podcast! Eric is constantly trying new things and even when it doesn't turn out exactly right I learn a lot and often go experiment myself. It's eclectic and interesting, I can't say enough good about it.

Fun little podcasts with tips on gardening and cooking. The dogs make us laugh. I'd like to see Eric's wife sometime. We only get to hear her voice.
