he doesn't know what he's doing most of the time
Eric, more often than not, seems to make videos of himself doing things he's never tried before, and he doesn't necessarily do a good job or provide helpful instruction or information. What results is a podcast of a guy doing chores and repairs by trial and error, which is the way most people muddle through life, but even set to music doesn't make for a compelling podcast.

I love Gardenfork.tv -- the hosts are entertaining and funny and the dogs are so much fun to watch.
