The quintessential podcast on all things geeky!
Jason and Ashley are charismatic and have chemistry that is only matched by their collective geek history knowledge (comic books in particular), seriously, they're a well of knowledge. They ease their listeners into the daunting and sometimes (read always) convoluted histories of comic book characters and other geek culture constructs that you end up being introduced and invested in characters you may not have expected to be invested in. This is ultimately the best reason to give them a listen because no other podcast gives you the all too necessary play by play history that you'd need before delving into comic books. As a recent comic book reader (within the past 2 years), I now have a greater appreciation for some of my favorite and not so favorite characters (I'm now looking into Kyle Rayner as John Stewart fan). Geek History Lesson is certified frosty! P.S. Beware! Jason's tunes will become your life!

I listen to podcasts at work and this is one I can not because Jason just yells over and over again into his mic. If he would calm down maybe I would give it more of a try but its just too annoying to have to keep turning it up and down.

I really love the podcast, but my one niggle is that you re-explain each section of the podcast every single time which makes perfect sense for new listeners but can get tiresome for old-time fans
