Save time. Read the Wiki.
The Good: The hosts have good banter and seem to enjoy each others company. The audio quality is great. The Okay: Sometimes that banter is fairly lopsided. The Bad: Most of the shows I’ve heard since this podcast started appearing on the Major Spoilers’ feed have been about characters whom the hosts openly admit that have limited/no prior knowledge or association with. They basically crib together notes from various wiki entries and read them off while trying to place in clever jokes. Often these jokes fall flat or just seem to be mean spirited swipes at the material they are discussing. To be fair, there is the occasional episode that the hosts have a connection to and those are better, but more often than not it seem stop be the podcast version of click-baiting: offering an episode for a suddenly spotlighted character that they really have a limited understanding of. Honestly, you would save time and save your self from several lame jokes by just visiting the relevant wiki pages.

I really love this podcast! It's fun, mostly easy to follow, and I find Jason and Ashley amusing. I have gone back and listened to most of the past podcasts. I feel like I know so much more about comics, in particular, then I used to know!Read full review »

This is a great podcast. Funny and educational. It's a great way to refresh my memory of things from my youth (Optimus prime) and also dig deeper into characters I don't know much about (nightwing).Read full review »
