I’ve had my hands on this device for a month, and here’s the inside scoop on what it offers and how it can redefine your mobile streaming experience. Get OBSBOT Talent What Makes OBSBOT Talent Special? The OBSBOT Talent can be used in many ways to bring in video, then send it out. Protocols like NDI, HDMI, and USB for inputs and RTMP, SRT, and NDI for outputs, you can set up to record ore stream in almost anyplace imaginable. Key Features * Portability: The device weighs in at 1 LB, and the size is that of a thick smartphone (5.44 inch AMOLED screen with 350nit brightness). If you add in batteries, you can use this anywhere. * Connection Options: With two HDMI inputs, multiple USB ports, built-in Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and tethering capabilities, the OBSBOT Talent is designed to work in most recording situations. * Multi-Camera Support: Talent can handle up to three remote sources (NDI or SRT) and multiple direct inputs simultaneously, With 2 – HDMI and 2 – USB cameras, you can easily setup a 5 camera multi-shoot. You can also create Picture in Picture and Supersources for your production. * Built-in Graphics: Add text, lower thirds, scoreboards, and even telestrate on the screen. all with a few taps. * Easy Setup for Live Streams: Set up streams directly to YouTube, Twitch, or Facebook with a few taps. The OBSBOT Talent supports full HD streaming at 1080p, and RTSP/NDI/SRT output to go to other switchers in-house or worlds away (as long as there’s Internet connection). * Website Control Options: The OBSBOT Talent allows for remote control through its web interface. Simply connect via its IP address, and you’re ready to manage the entire setup remotely. Connect on the Device Along with the 2-HDMI and 2-USB options, the Talent also houses 1 Gbps Ethernet, an SD card, Microphone in/Headphones out. 1/4 inch tripod screw, and two battery bays on the back for portable use. The unit does have a vent in back, which is important to keep clear. The Talent comes with a kickstand that attaches at the battery bays if needed. Real-World Application I setup four cameras, including a PTZ camera, 2 USB cameras, and the Tail Air for a quick show test.
