“Wow! This podcast has changed my life! I’ve been a sci-fi reader most of my life, and I’m a regular listener to Escape Pod, Starship Sofa and other story ‘casts. I’ve been stuck in a rut though trying to connect with contemporary writers and even some classics I’ve missed. The Geek’s Guide has filled that need perfectly. It is now my most-anticipated weekly podcast.
Recently… I’ve already ordered a copy of Daryl Gregory’s short story collection “Unpossible…”. I’ve decided I do want to see “Green Knight”. I learned more that I ever wanted to know about video game development. I read “Behold the Man” by Paul Di Filippo and found it fascinating. I discovered Robert Sheckley. I bought and devoured the “Best American Sci-Fi Fantasy” collection.
David is one of the best interviewers I listen to on a regular basis. His ability to keep a group engaged and ensure everyone has their say without taking over the discussion is amazing. Keep up the good work!”
