Excellent podcast
I’m seeing a trend in the 1 star reviews - most of them admit to only listening to part of the first episode or only the first episode and calling it trash and transphobic. Others are being hateful and saying how can two cis women make up scenarios, laugh at trans people, and provide no evidence for what they’re saying. Think about how closed minded that is, because you’re only hearing what you want to hear. These two women have several years of experience working with gender questioning teens, have done their own research, etc. To say they’re close minded is inaccurate. I find them to be nonjudgmental, use real world examples from people they have counseled, and talk to a variety of people in the trans community. I have a gender questioning teen, and I will love him and support him no matter what he decides to do with his life. This podcast helps me to understand what he’s going through. It’s irresponsible in this age of technology to just go “oh okay you’re trans” without wondering where this came from. I’m not transphobic at all. I just feel that this isn’t something to be taken lightly when you have a child who is gifted, socially naive, has ADHD, autism, social anxiety, and sensory issues who used to be all boy - and after going through some trauma, moving to a new school, and going through puberty at the same time - who then starts spending a lot of time online looking at disgusting porn and finding that he had “friends” on social media who were actually grown men - and he starts talking to people as a girl, you’re not just going to be like yeah you’re trans. Something else may be going on here. This isn’t the case for all trans people, I know that. I fully support those who are truly transgender, and I support my son no matter what, but it’s my responsibility as a parent to find out what’s going on. I have tried to communicate with the trans community in online forums and have been met with hate and banned just for asking questions. I wasn’t being disrespectful. I understand the community is defensive because of all the pain and suffering it has endured, but please know that a lot of us are just curious about certain issues and want to support our children.

Love the podcast and by the way I also love Succession! Stella you have to get into it. The bullying of a patriarch and the dysfunctional family dynamics that result.
