Starting a new series within the podcast, Independent Film Focus will feature host Daniel Chadwick-Shubat talking to filmmakers and highlighting their projects that might not have a wide release. With episode 1, Daniel talks to filmmaker and one of Canada's top special effects artists, Steven Kostanski about his new film, Frankie Freako.  They talk about his history in the film industry, where his love of film came from and Frankie Freako's relatively quick turnaround from script to screen. Shout! Studios is currently releasing the film in the USA, whilst Raven Banner Entertainment is handling the release in Canada and internationally.
