Why the change in format?
The Getting Blanked podcast used to be the best baseball podcast on the web. A great mix of baseball smarts and NSFW humour. With their most recent show, they've decided to change the format to interviewing 'baseball people'. Drew's a great interviewer, and could realistically drag a good interview of out a bag of wood, but there's just no chemistry in the show with the new guests. The Score had three primary competitive advantages vis-a-vis its competition: best app available, betting information and its podcast/blog content. The Score has been successful by being 'edgy' in its content and delivery - it doesn't have the critical mass to compete with the big boys, so it's decided to play a different game and has been very successful. The changing of the formatting is quite simply destroying the strategic asset that was acquired. I'll give the new format a couple more tries because I think that the contributors to Getting Blanked and DrunkJaysFans are top notch. If management is insistent on interviewing baseball people, then make it half of the show, or make that part of the show only one day a week. I fear that we may have lost something great. I hope that I get to come back and erase this review or at least post a mea culpa in the near future

It's a real relief to get smart-yet-normal dudes talking about baseball from a knowledgeable perspective without worrying that it's going to descend into the usual moralism and sentiment that we get from the MLB. I guess what I'm saying is, finally there's a perfect baseball podcast for Gen-Xers.

Drew and Stoeten + guests would be a nice podcast. The presence of superdouche Dustin Parkes is so frustrating. He is an insufferable bore.

Great coverage of baseball and especially the Jays! Not recommended for those who call into Jays Talk. There's far too much logic used here for those folks! :)
