JVN Fanboy finally getting into it
I adore JVN from the bottom of my heart and just started listening because of the far right/tradwife influencer episode as this is a big interest of mine (meaning right wing radicalization on social media). Now I’m listening to the Haitian Vodu episode and I just needed to say that Prof. Nwokocha is everything and she is giving the best cool young professor vibes while also offering grounded analysis and very important historical context about the far reaching consequences of the colonial project on indigenous and diasporic cultures all over the world. Awesome work, I’m very excited for more! Also PS but Jonathon postitions themself as being an uneducated midwesterner but truly has the most compassionate, intelligent and honest curiosity when engaging in interviews.
