“Adore this podcast! It’s so nice to listen to such relatable content on my favourite films of all time! Whisper of the Heart is my favourite Ghibli film and that podcast on it was just fantastic! Really did it justice. The reference to the gif used from the film for many lofi-beat channels really made me chuckle as I used to listen to those a lot during my time at university! Do you think you may do an episode on Ocean Waves? I think it is a very underrated film in the collection of Ghibli that perhaps many don’t know was actually produced by the Studio! It was directed by Tomomi Mochizuki who worked closely on the film with Miyazaki, and is famous for his sensitive love stories! Keep up the great work! :)”

“Love the podcast, and the Red Turtle episode was a genuine classic! So good to hear the behind the scenes stories from the director (of such a breathtakingly beautiful movie).
Only one thing irks me, pronouncing Hayao like «HayO» or «HeyO» is just plain wrong ;) Ghibli is ambiguous, Ha-ya-o is not.”
