“I love this show. I’m on episode 4 or 5, can’t quite remember which number, but it’s the one where they go to mediums and the last one is the soft spoken young man. He gets some important things right. And then Tristan starts getting skeptical and defensive when his assistant talks about his reactions. When he brings up the fact that he is worried that “some people, in the future, may be taken in by this” I immediately thought what his assistant thought- you’re not worried about the general public, at some future point, being lied to by a medium! We react from our own sense of self! We react with our own story of who we are! He is a rational male journalist. It’s clear he doesn’t want to experience what he just did. And when he says it feels dark or disturbing- I wish I could ask him why? People die, that’s not a scary thing. We humans have made it seem so. We are energetic electrical beings. We physically leave this earth, but we stay here- our essence and energy do. I just think that because he’s a journalist, he wants to focus on facts. And you can say that it is a fact that when we die, we don’t disappear into a void of nothing- we continue on. It isn’t scary unless you allow yourself to scared! I mean here he is, doing this whole investigation into ghosts and he’s afraid that a person who has passed on is a scary thing! He’s afraid of ghosts.”
