“Couldn’t get past the first story in the first episode. Tried to make it sound like an interview but it was clearly being read out and not by the person who experienced it. The whole pint of this topic should be to make it real and authentic. I get there has to be some scripting maybe but this is like listening to bad acting. Good storytelling podcasts always have an element of vulnerability and natural conversation. Not reading out some renactment. Another classic example of “traditional” media not getting it in this medium.”
