“I’ve never been into podcasts. I thought they were honestly kind of stupid and just a trendy thing that millennials did while drinking their whatever whatever latte with almond milk please and wearing a beanie in some hipster coffee shop. But this all changed when I saw on Jake’s Instagram that he was starting one with his friend and I thought, “okay, if Jake is doing this, it has to be good.” And it is. It so is. I have listened to every single Ghostrunners podcast and have laughed every single time and have had a genuine smile on my face while listening. I look forward to every Monday when the new episode comes out.
Jake and Brad, I want you to know that during the summer I would sometimes have a three and a half hour commute with no A/C going down a two-lane highway majority of the trip, and your episodes were playing over my speakers the entire time and made the ride so much more enjoyable. So thank you, really. I never recommend podcasts because I don’t want to be “that person,” but I unapologetically and confidently recommended yours to my sister last week (who also isn’t super into podcasts), and she said she would have to give it a listen.
And holy cow, if you’ve read this far you’re a real one. But bottom line, this podcast is just really really enjoyable, and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t even like podcasts that much. Thank you guys for putting this out there. It has the most organic beginning and it never feels like you’re *trying*. I think that’s what makes it so awesome. Anyway, this is the longest review ever. Have a great week, I look forward to next Monday.”
