In 2020, China produced several important legislative, regulatory and judicial changes to its IP system. These changes, which improve the Chinese intellectual property protection system, include modifications to the patent law, new pharmaceutical patent regulations, new trademark protection rules, new rules on IP case trials. New court interpretations aimed at solving critical issues, the protection of trade secrets in China, and further regulations on the abuse of intellectual property rights and intellectual property crimes.
