This is his first Hallmark appearance.  * Cecilia Lee plays Alura. This is a breakout role for Cecilia who has just seven acting credits (four of which are short films.) He has 43 total acting credits.  * “My Dreams of You” was filmed in Canada’s Ottawa and surrounding areas. * Talwalkar revealed that he wrote an original song with Lauren Ray for the movie. One of the film's strengths is its casting. We were thrilled to see an Indian American actor, Kapil Talwalkar, in the leading role.
