Description
Welcome to the "Go Big to Give Big" podcast with Randy Molland and Steve Arneson! In this episode, we discuss the impact of fitness and endurance in our lives with Sachin Latti! Sachin founded Sachinmotion, a movement to raise awareness and funds for veterans and first responders battling PTSD and mental health illnesses. He comes from a Sikh community with a rich history of military service, and his own experience as a law enforcement officer inspired him to advocate for mental health awareness. Despite struggling with weight gain, Sachin found solace in lifting and bodybuilding and eventually discovered a love for running. He hopes to continue his family's legacy of service by helping those who have served and advocating for mental health support.
In our talk with Sachin, we cover his journey to running a half marathon daily for a week and how he overcame mental health challenges. He started with short runs and gradually increased his distance, even though his body wasn't fully ready for a 21K race that he completed in just two months. Despite using toxic energy and negative self-talk to motivate himself during the race, he stresses the importance of consistency and effort for success. Sachin also emphasizes finding a motivating factor beyond money and shares how serving others through entrepreneurship can lead to financial freedom and success.
Join us as we dive into Sachin's journey toward endurance racing and how he's using his passion for running to impact the world positively.
