““Goblin Market” has absolutely nothing to do with Dungeons & Dragons swords and sorcery type-stuff. What it IS is the perfect, emblematic podcasting example of a horror & thriller anthology for the 2020’s; there are (thank God) a few other amazing podcasts that provide a more modern way to fill our minds with today’s form of “dread” horror - but “Goblin Market might be the very best at throwing their NewType scary stories right in our faces, where they can enter our ear canals, gnaw into the brain to get deep into our subconsciousness’, searching out homes within our dream-stuff for those “impossible to forget” literary narratives of the bizarre.

“Acephale” comes immediately to mind;
“A Darker Tale”, several stories from “Horror Hill”...
”Twisted Mirror”. “Wrong Station”. And anything written by Soren Narnia (even though Knifepoint Horror started quite a while ago, his ‘voyeur’s-eye-view’ of hellish nightmares has always been years ahead of nearly everyone else in the field).)”
