Some movies are just asking for trouble!
This is a podcast that will create a special point of anticipation in your week. Although it is still very new they have been quick to find their groove thus making for comedic gold. Imagine MST3K meets Second City, meets Roger Ebert, and meets The Scathing Atheist. No on second thought do not imagine that as this podcast even more fun than that! I have even gone back to watch some of the films that they riff just to see if everything was as terrible as they describe… Yes, the films really are just nauseating, however like many classic comedy albums you will find yourself returning to the show (podcast) for seconds (seriously). Another aspect of the show so far is the use of guest personalities who bring an extra edge to the already sharp humor and scathing insight. I am looking forward to future surprises regarding just who (or is it whom) will appear next. GAWD AWFUL movies advances the humor with actual sketches within the show that keeps the film on the business end of the plunger. They are a great fit with the already hilarious and irreverent podcast, I urge you to give GAWD AWFUL movies a go regardless if you are an Atheist, Christian, Snake Handler, Zoroastrian, or whatever. For those of us who find that we need more of the podcast be sure to support the show via Patreon for the wonderful bonus material. My only hope is that they go back and riff A Thief in The Night… HintyHintHint!

They then give us the rundown. Not afraid to offend those who take these movies seriously, they are hilarious. One of...Read full review »

I had no idea there existed this alternate universe of Christian movies! What doesn’t really surprise me is how insanely terrible they are! (Because you’ve heard their “pop,” “rock,” and “metal” music, right?) They’re just screaming for some rational criticism - Noah, Heath, and Eli to the...Read full review »
