Welcome, beautiful people, to a deeply enriching episode of the podcast and the first one in 2024! I couldn't imagine a better way to start the year than with this episode and my guest, Sabine Kuegler. Sabine is the author of the best-selling book 'Child of the Jungle,' which also served as a foundation for the movie 'Jungle Child' with Thomas Kretschmann and Nadja Uhl from 2011. Sabine takes us with her and her immersive experiences, living among the Fayu tribe in the jungle of West Papua, Indonesia. She shares the profound wisdom she gleaned from growing up in the jungle, as well as her return and 5-year healing journey with shamans and plant medicines, which saved her from a deadly disease. This conversation is packed with incredible anecdotes, little stories, and indigenous wisdom, making me very excited to share it with all of you. I feel honored and deeply grateful to have had the chance to interview Sabine and, hopefully, expose some new parts of her amazing story in this conversation.
