“Dr. Rae-Wynn Grant has worked in some of the most important ecosystems in the world. Studying lemurs in Madagascar, Lions in East Africa and what she is best known for- bears- all over the US. As a woman of color in a white male dominated field, she has forged an unlikely path to work with National Geographic and American Museum of Natural History among other notable institutions. Hearing her insights about her research and challenges for social justice are inspiring and important. There are few voices that can speak with such authority, care and experience. Well worth the listen.”
