But why do they have Mid-Atlantic accents?
I was extremely excited about the concept of this podcast, but disappointed within seconds of starting it. Why does everyone on the Parcast network try so hard to sound super professional and important like they’re a newscaster from the 70s? Also, is it the same people on every show? I can’t tell. They say their names I’m sure, but I don’t remember them because the speak so generically. All I can imagine when I hear them are the podcasters wearing rust color blazers and holding two pieces of thin paper vertically over a formica desk. I’m not saying it’s wrong. Obviously, it works for some people. For me, their delivery makes it hard to listen to because I feel like I’m watching a video about hygiene in my school library and I can’t relate to the podcasters who seem devoid of personalities, which I know they are not, they’re hardworking, real people. But I wish they’d show that.

Otherwise I could have more fun reading about the topics on my own wi5 maybe the...Read full review »
