Robotic, corporate, scripted, boring
The glowing reviews really do smell of a Parcast Network intern project. How are they missing the sterile, scripted, fake, corporate production? Are the podcasters in the same room? Have they met? They never actually speak to one another, besides the occasional, “I agree with you.” Who are they, “Richard” and “Molly”?! No last names? Who is doing the research? The robotic tone is so distracting, I can hardly listen. Also, great topics made boring, like most of the Parcast “products” I’ve heard. It’s the opposite of what is great about podcasting...It’s what podcasts were made to counter, that corporate feeling oozing into everything that’s good, creative, interesting and independent. This is a money-making vehicle. Trash!

Tell us about missing treasures, I’d like to come across some doubloons if you know what I’m saying. (What I’m saying is I want treasure.)

I love mysteries and history and luckily this podcast delivers on both fronts. Great topics and host. I highly recommend this podcast.

How can you asked for a five star rating before the episode is even listened to? Also, why does it take two people to read the script? The topics are interesting but the format is poor. I also feel as though the monotone voice is take away from topics.
