The word mistress implies consent, and a person who’s been kept from death to be used for sex (no matter how glad to not be dead) is a victim of rape. When they’re moved across a demarcation of any kind, it is sex trafficking. Love this podcast, and I share this uninvited comment because I am confident that the writer(s) would care to hear it; if others reading this consider it semantics: then you need to do some research on misogyny immediately.
