“A year ago I found Good Faith Effort after reading one of Rabbi Lamm’s “Why read the Bible in Hebrew” Twitter threads and quickly became obsessed. Over the next several months I listened to every episode, was introduced to dozens of amazing podcast guests and added to my Amazon cart at an embarrassing speed. Rabbi Lamm’s insight and optimism has brought me back over and over and I’ve recommended him to everyone around me to the extent that he’s jokingly referred to in our house as Rabbi guru Ari Lamm. On October 3, 2023, I had finally listened to every GFE episode. Little did I know what lie ahead. I anxiously look forward to the day when the podcast returns and pray for Rabbi Lamm in the meantime because more than ever I’m convinced that we need the power of the Bible to illuminate the most important conversations in society, politics, pop culture and beyond.”
