“Today is a really bad day and I feel so sad and rubbish. My therapist suggested me to take a walk so I wore my oversized pants, a motivating primark tshirt, dark sunglasses because I cried and a bright pink mask to cover my awful acne that decided to come back. I decided to listen to Gemma’s podcast instead of music because I felt I needed that, to hear I’m not alone and that someday it’ll be better, it won’t pass but it’ll be better. I listened to the episode about disability when it came out and enjoyed it so much. My best friend is a disabled person and we both struggle in many different ways and it felt so good to me to hear someone talking about it. Today I listened to the episode about depression and it made me feel better and that it’s okay to let go sometimes, that we can’t be perfect. This is my absolute favourite podcast and I also suggested it to a few people both for the topics and both to improve English while listening to a great podcast. Gemma’s voice is so relaxing it makes even the toughest topics like she’s rattling off the shopping list🤍”
