“I can understand why some reviews are saying it’s too downbeat or miserable, it can be really confronting in places and is a horribly sad story. But the storytelling is incredible and I find it so compelling, if difficult to listen to. One to listen to in small doses. If we find it hard to listen to, I can’t imagine what it was like to live through. A fascinating story about a real human experience.”
