Fanatic discussions
Episode #99 Hanson is interesting & informed, but he talks too long & over the other three. —-Episode #91 & the sparks fly as steel meets steel. Great points raised particularly around the need for a more mature politics (let’s hope that the GOP & Dems are listening). —-Episode #81 is a real popper! Whilst Niall Ferguson & Victor Davis Hanson raised some good points, John Cochrane & H. R. McMaster made stronger arguments with clear end goals, definite moral positions (very important in any conflict situation) & delimitation of international responsibilities: Russia 100% out of Ukraine, with maximal support for Ukraine by the West & NATO up to that point OR a Ukrainian led negotiated settlement, etc. As much as possible, the Western alliance should not impose its positions & views on the Ukrainians. —- A very enlightening & entertaining discussion. Thank you. I look forward to every episode. Don’t agree with every member or guest, but always worth listening to! (In this instance, Maj Gen Price’s contention that CRT is a recent issue. I remember contending with its twisted misconceptions in South Africa in the ‘80s. Perhaps it has been reimported to USA from SA since?? If that’s true - sorry)

This show is starting to become repetitive. HR is especially ignorant on China and repeats the same stats and opinions every episode.

Good content, often insightful answers to thoughtful questions. Can have a policy wonk’s bias though: Gen. McMaster regularly cites education and well written studies (that few will ever read) as the solution to problems that seem to have a root cause in moral rather than intellectual deficiencies.
