I listen to a lot of planning, urban design, and placemaking podcasts. While those are great, it’s sometimes discouraging because I can’t imagine a lot of municipalities having the resources and/or desire to implement the ideas there. GGD is a great counterpart!!! It shows what local governments can do with yes, some money (although maybe just reallocation) and definitely some risk, but mostly vision and courage.
