Exciting contrast to planning podcasts!
I listen to a lot of planning, urban design, and placemaking podcasts. While those are great, it’s sometimes discouraging because I can’t imagine a lot of municipalities having the resources and/or desire to implement the ideas there. GGD is a great counterpart!!! It shows what local governments can do with yes, some money (although maybe just reallocation) and definitely some risk, but mostly vision and courage. It has consistently good production quality, topics, and guests. The hosts are great—real and personal but not that weird inside-jokes with lots of dead air that some podcasters have. Love it!!

More reviews of Government Gone Digital
Audio quality is great and the host and guests are well spoken but I was hoping that they would discuss topics of interest to residents of Gilbert. I'm not really interested in the inner workings of government digital promotion. I am, however interested in my neighborhood and local businesses.
