27. Praying for our nation and the president and vice-president

Praying for America's leaders at the federal, state, and local levels.
First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 1 Timothy 2:1–2
•That our leaders would know God and serve Him.
•That God would give them wisdom.
•That they would stand boldly and courageously in the face of evil, without backing down from righteousness.
Praying for our president. That he would be wise and place his heart in God’s hand and that God would direct his ways.
The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes. Proverbs 21:1
Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Psalm 2:10–11
Praying that America would turn again to God.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance. Psalm 33:12
and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
Praying for peace in Ukraine
‘Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare.’ (Jeremiah 29:7)
