Great lives but choose carefully
This podcast is very BBC very informative and suitably high brow with erudite and interesting guests.. I have held back one star because the podcast name strongly implies that to be discussed will be the biographies of great even if at times obscure people. So it isratger surprising if not disconcerting to find the life of mass murderes and dictators like Mussolini. Nobody in Italy thought he was abufoon. Hus supporters adored him and those who hated him feared him. So this is one myth you hardly need to bust! You either change the names if the whole podcast to accommodate departures from “ great” or you edit Mussolini out! It is hard to see him listedalong side Primo Levi for example!! Really not fair and actualky downright inapproprite!!
