Weird but good
I had this recommended to me a ton before I picked it up, and while I’m now a subscriber, I do think it has its issues. I love many of the stories and characters, but I feel like absurdism of the plot elements sometimes distracts from my ability to invest emotionally. If you’re down for something a little weirder, I would definitely try Greater Boston out, but you definitely need to give it room to be what it is, for which reason it’s not always my precise cup of tea.

More reviews of Greater Boston
As an audio drama producer, I listen to a lot of shows. And there are some truly stunning shows out there. But too few break new ground and explore this format in ways that excite, inspire and amaze. Greater Boston is my single favourite audio drama on the web. Bar none.

If the audiodrama medium interests you, there's no better place to start than Greater Boston, which combines wit and humor and pathos and heart in a magic realist story that goes in many weird and interesting directions. I can't wait for more.Read full review »

The best! I love how so many different plots tie together and make a tapestry of miscommunication and confusion, while capturing the atmosphere of Boston and of people just trying to accomplish things in life. Truly excellent
