#5 Greenhouse Gases + My personal plastic audit
Listen now
Description
Hello! Welcome back Green Living Podcast. In this week’s episode I talk about Greenhouse Gases. This episode dives into what greenhouse gases are, where we use them the most, and ways to reduce our carbon footprint. This is a big subject that I tried to boil down a bit to be able to be easily consumable. There is a lot of research out there so please take this podcast as a mini lesson on a larger issue. I wanted the bulk of this episode to be solutions instead of the problem. I want to focus on things that can still be done to help the planet. At the end of this episode I also mention my personal plastic audit that I did from mid August to mid September. I counted every single-use plastic item that came into the house and the number was not what I expected. If you haven't listened to the first episode please go listen for some context.
