In For Greeny
I’ve been an avid sports podcast fan for about seven years. I have never in my life seen anything like Mike Greenberg’s attendance on his own show. He’s currently hosted 9 of the last 78 days. I believe he’s missed 21 straight days at the moment. It has reached the point where he will do a guest appearance to open his own show and then let Carlin and Canty host the remaining 80 percent. It was a really good idea for him to start a second show. At what point will he acknowledge that it’s too much work and just cancel the show? I love his content when he is on but it’s reached the point where even as his biggest fan, I can’t defend him. Imagine trying to recommend this show to someone else. What would you say? ‘Yeah so it’s called Greeny but he only hosts about 20 percent of the time, usually to make a triumphant return from vacation before disappearing for another month.’

Great to have Greeny back on the radio where it all began! Looking forward to hear his insight, guests, and analysis as we did every morning for 18 of the last 20 years.
