Thanks for the great memories!
One of my favorite memories was somewhere around the year 2000. Babylon 5 was being shown every night on tv as reruns. My husband and I had already seen the show when it was first aired and wanted to watch it again (of course!). We convinced a friend to watch it for the first time. Every night we’d sit in our respective houses, my husband and me in ours (the old ones), and our friend in his (a newbie.) During each commercial break we’d call our friend and talk about what we’d just seen. We’d get his reaction and his thoughts about what was going on, but we never gave any spoilers. About 6 or so episodes in, he asked, “Who’s your favorite character?” and when I said, “G’Kar,” he just about hung up the phone. “G’Kar??! He’s so obnoxious! Why would you like HIM?” Of course, we couldn’t give anything away, but just told him to wait and keep watching. Listening to this podcast brings back all those good memories! Babylon 5 is one of those shows you wish you could erase from your mind and then watch again, just to get to enjoy the crazy ride all over again. But since we can’t do that, the next best thing is to take a newbie on the journey and watch them discover the crazy ride. Thank you, newbies, for riding this crazy ride with us! Thank you, old ones, for bringing them along!

It makes the show fun for new viewers and long-time B5 fans. I also never tire of how annoyed the newbies get by...Read full review »

Other reviews have described the show so this one will follow their general format. My first impression was a concern that there were too many people on the pod. Would there be a chance for everyone to speak or would it be too difficult to manage? But after listening to the team cover the season...Read full review »

These people are crazy, and that's why I like them so much. It's great hearing their discussions about the show and it's great to hear the newbie predictions. The first ones get entirely too much entertainment from their guesses, but I think the newbies hold their own during the...Read full review »
