Accessible and enjoyable
The Grierson and Leitch backstory is really great—a friendship from childhood extending through life—and it strengthens the podcast. These are two people who enjoy movies, want to talk about movies, understand movies on a deep level, and know how to discuss movies. The criticism is meaningful and enjoyable; even when there are disagreements, Will and Tim are able to understand each other. For the Reboot segment, I suggest the 2023 film ‘Perfect Days’, directed by Wim Wenders and starring Koji Yakusho. The film examines two weeks in the life of a janitor in Tokyo and the people he encounters; it was nominated for Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards.

I can even get over the fact that Leitch sounds Jimmy Olsen on Percocet. Thanks guys and keep up the great work. If you have it in your...Read full review »

They’ve been friends for a very long time, and that comes through in their reviews and their rapport on air. It’s worth listening to if you’re a fan...Read full review »
