“I am so disappointed because this would be my favorite true crime podcast of all time if they stopped talking so much between story details.
Positives:
1. They appear to really enjoy one another
2. They have pleasant voices that are easy to listen to
3. Great stories, most of which are solved (which I love)
4. Content offered that many podcasts don’t offer
5. I love the opening crime story summary that each episode begins with
6. It’s great how they post photos on IG for each episode
Negatives:
1. Laughing hysterically right after telling gory details. I actually love to laugh and have a sarcastic sense of humor, but sometimes it’s just “too soon, too soon” after telling dark details of horrific events
2. They often talk for 5-10 minutes in between relevant story details about completely irrelevant topics or laughing about their own selves or what they like or don’t like, etc. Camaraderie is great and a few limited stories and laughs are great, but sometimes it’s 10 minutes into the show before they really dive in. I can barely hang on but make myself because their actual true crime content is so good.”
