Great crime stories but way too much unrelated talking
I am so disappointed because this would be my favorite true crime podcast of all time if they stopped talking so much between story details. Positives: 1. They appear to really enjoy one another 2. They have pleasant voices that are easy to listen to 3. Great stories, most of which are solved (which I love) 4. Content offered that many podcasts don’t offer 5. I love the opening crime story summary that each episode begins with 6. It’s great how they post photos on IG for each episode Negatives: 1. Laughing hysterically right after telling gory details. I actually love to laugh and have a sarcastic sense of humor, but sometimes it’s just “too soon, too soon” after telling dark details of horrific events 2. They often talk for 5-10 minutes in between relevant story details about completely irrelevant topics or laughing about their own selves or what they like or don’t like, etc. Camaraderie is great and a few limited stories and laughs are great, but sometimes it’s 10 minutes into the show before they really dive in. I can barely hang on but make myself because their actual true crime content is so good.

This is always my go to podcast. I’ve relistened to every episode multiple times, my fav is the Liz episode! Just the way they tell the stories it draws you in and they make you laugh too. Highly recommend listening to them!

When I found this podcast and listened to the first episode I was so excited that I found a great new podcast to binge … then I see that there are only a few episodes so far and it made me sad. This show is so well done that my biggest complaint is that there needs to be more episodes! I’m very...Read full review »
