This week, we interviewed Nathalie Tocci, the Director of the Institute for International Affairs (IAI) in Italy. In 2016, she wrote the EU Global Strategy as Special Advisor to the EU High Representative Federica Mogherini and Josep Borrell. She holds an MSc and a PhD from the London School of Economics, and she has spent her career in think tanks, universities and in policy roles. Benedetta Morari, a PhD candidate at the LSE, and one of our co-editors, Riccardo Gon, talked to her about her unique career across policymaking and academia, being a woman in foreign policy, and where EU security is headed.
