“I am a second year troop leader with now 1st Grade Daisies and, even with 5 years of experience as a girl and a super supportive service unit, I still feel like a complete newbie. There is just so much to know and understand about being a troop leader! Enter: the troop leader experience podcast. It is very clear that this is a labor of love for the host. She cares deeply about girls and about people in general providing hundreds of episodes on any and every topic. For example, I just downloaded tons of cookie related episodes as we move towards cookie season.
It feels so good to be reassured that I am not alone in wanting to provide an amazing experience for these girls and it is awesome to learn from such experienced leaders like our host across the country. I have started a note on my phone with all of the cool ideas and threads I can pull to improve my troop meetings, year planning, and cookie season experience.
