Within this focus, Kirill Ole Thompson examines the Book of Change & Songs of the South and the way appropriate judgments and responses are made. Kirill Ole Thompson is Professor of Foreign Languages & Literature at Institute for Advanced Studies in Humanities & Social Sciences, National Taiwan University. He specializes in Chinese philosophy, Zhu Xi (1130-1200) and the Song-Ming Neo Confucian masters. Currently, his research includes investigating the implications in traditional Chinese philosophy regarding the environment and climate change.
