“I love the TryGuys so I’m giving this a shot. The first episode was ok. Not super strong, but it was the first so I thought, “it could only go up from there.” The Bridgerton episode was very frustrating because Kelsey was the only one who watched the entire series. Please! Please watch whatever your topic is the week before talking about it. Also, because the boys didn’t watch everything they couldn’t even get into really highly problematic parts of the show. Side note: it’s the Regency period, not Victorian. Victorian comes a few years later. I know they don’t care, but fashion history people KNOW the difference and I literally cringed every time they said Victorian lol. Research is important.
The show doesn’t feel cohesive or structured. I get it supposed to feel like a conversation between friends, but they all talk over eachother and go on tangents. They just have a few bumps to smooth out.”
