The New Cover Of the Southwest, Not Midwest
As we know, Gunsmoke takes place in Dodge City, KS. I’m not sure why the new cover for the show depicts the southwest (Arizona, New Mexico) and not the prairies in the Midwest. Many radio episodes talk about life in the prairie: the heat, the blizzards, the sod houses and of course the cattle drive which covered the prairies. These activities did not typically take place in the southwest. Please find a more appropriate depiction of Gunsmoke for the cover. Thank-you.

Aside from the history of its creation to its becoming a permanent staple in the folks of that period, the creativity of the writers is phenominal. If you research the actors of this show and follow where they all went, you will be surprised... Enjoy this piece of history..
